The Odu that will mark us this year is called IRETE-OBARA. This odu (energy) talks about the importance of deepening our connection with the energy of wisdom and knowledge, which was until now forgotten and pushed in marginal world. Basically it’s about Ifa, Iyaami, Gnosis and other age-old knowledge being lift up like Fenix from ashes of oblivion and being left out in the upcoming year.
This year everybody will have to take responsibility for all that they know and to try their best to lift the standard of living for themselves and others, on temporal as well as spiritual side. We will have to make one step further and become even more assertive in our intention to do what we feel is necessary for us and all the people we love.
Energy Irete-Obara talks about importance of taking more of a leadership role in our lives and becoming more responsible by using the wisdom and knowledge of Ifa energy as well as the power and protection of Iyaami energy in our temporal life. It is a call for us to be more proactive and tap into our male side to accomplish what we need.
There is the underlying current that things will be “different” this year, but “different” in a meaningful and important manner. (Different in a long-term view). Irete being on our practical everyday side of the Odu matrix will have a special meaning for the Ifa Priests as well. This will be the year they can do more with their abilities and direct more people to the Ifa philosophy through taking more action by doing their everyday work….nothing extraordinary, but all within a structure of the Ifa world view. For those that are not Ifa Priests, now is the chance to do the right thing…with great character. Now is the time to seize the opportunity and apply yourself more in creating a life that will bring together all the success that will ultimately deliver peace of mind. Each and one of us contributes a small piece to the overall force of the Universe according to our destiny!
From the point of revealing and connecting to our destiny Ifa is far the most efficient system on this planet.
